Why do we love pretty things? Why do we want to be surrounded by beauty? Why do we spend so much time and money on fashion and beauty? Why do some women love fashion and others hate it?
All of these questions have been asked many times, but most people have no answer. I know I don’t. I have seen so many beautiful people in this world and there are many ugly people also. I suppose beauty is in the eye of the beholder but in reality beauty is not so much in the eye of the beholder as it is in our own eyes. If you think about it, if someone believes that all beautiful things must be ugly, that is a person who has not ever met or seen a beautiful thing in their life.
Most people have a very limited view of fashion because they only see it as something that they don’t like. They believe that ugly people only wear ugly fashion and that all beautiful people are fashionable. This can be further from the truth. There are all kinds of beautiful fashion and pretty fashion.
Why do we love fashion? Fashion is actually an expression of self. Every day we are given new clothing to wear and fashion tells us what kind of person we are. Just think back to all of the magazines that you have to flip through at random times. We see fashion and beauty everywhere we go. Even when we are at home we are exposed to beauty through fashion and the movies.
Pretty is beautiful. It’s hard to even define it. Some people say that beauty is the ability to be unselfish, to put yourself last, and to value yourself and others. I guess that is pretty good.
Most of us wouldn’t want to be judged by our appearance. If someone were to look at us and say that we were pretty, we probably would be flattered. However, if that same person said that we were not pretty enough then we probably wouldn’t be too pleased.
People use words like beauty to describe things that they don’t like. For example, one friend of mine said that her favorite word was ugly. Another friend of mine said that her favorite word was boring. Pretty is one of those words that people use to describe things that they really like. That is why we like pretty!
Pretty is not only good, but it is also safe. We don’t want to be labeled with anything negative like ugly or boring. We want to be taken seriously just the way we are. We don’t want to be laughed at because we are beautiful. We want to be known for our kindness, generosity, truthfulness and appreciation instead of being known for our ugliness or lack of beauty.
A beautiful person can do wonderful things. They are more likely to succeed in life. They are also more likely to be promoted at work or be hired for a promotion than someone that is plain. Because they are prettier than most of the other people around them, they can feel loved and appreciated even more.
The truth about why do we like pretty things is that they attract us into a feeling of love for ourselves. If we aren’t happy with our appearance then we are going to feel bad about it. We spend our lives trying to change our appearance. We try on makeup, clothing and makeup and make-up to cover up our flaws. We try on beautiful outfits to wear to work, to the store or anywhere else that we might have to dress up to feel better about ourselves.
When we find that we are beautiful inside we begin to see the world through the eyes of a good lover. We love the idea of having someone who loves us and understands us. We know that there are people out there who see us that way. We can connect to those people because we have felt the love from them.
The best thing about being pretty is that we don’t have to live by that standard. We can let go of that standard and just be ourselves. We don’t have to spend hours trying to cover up our flaws. We can be who we are. We are not limited by what others think about us. Pretty is beautiful.
